Build Farm

Specifications of the machines and software needed for the Six2 build farm

Quattor Server

Normal linux server running Apache2, Subversion, dhcp, and tftp.  Should be fairly powerful to allow quick compilation of machine profiles.

ETICS Server

Normal linux server running ETICS web service interface.

Farm Nodes

Use VMware to provide different flavors of linux, solaris, and windows environments.  Buy separate machines for Mac OSX.

Disk Server

Run sizable disk server for holding build artifacts.  Provide separate server for web access to the space.
