SixSq to coach ESA/ESOC on agile and Scrum
SixSq won a coaching and mentoring contract with ESA/ESOC on agile and Scrum methodologies for firm fixed price ptojects
ESOC, the European Space Operation Centre of ESA, started evaluating agile and Scrum development methods for several firm fixed price operational software contracts. SixSq was selected to provide coaching and mentoring services to help ESOC Project Officers in their Product Owner role to better transition to an agile/Scrum mode of management, as well as their contractors from industry, which are providing the software.
This short project combines face-to-face and remote sessions to provide concrete and practical advice on how to avoid classic agile dysfunctions and pitfalls, but also adapt agile and Scrum to ESA/ESOC specific environment and culture.
